About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Lonza joined AstraZeneca, Novartis, Novo Nordisk and Roche in a three-year multi-party renewable power purchase agreement with Envision Energy for approximately 200 GWh annually of renewable electricity (wind and solar) starting 2024 for operations in China. This supports decarbonization of Lonza's Scope 2 emissions in its Chinese sites. Evidence: "AstraZeneca, Lonza, Novartis, Novo Nordisk and Roche sign agreement in China with green technology company Envision Energy to unlock access to renewable power, resulting in potential annual carbon dioxide equivalent savings of around 120,000 tonnes." — https://www.sustainable-markets.org/news/five-global-healthcare-leaders-secure-industry-first-multi-party-agreement-to-access-renewable-power-in-china
