About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Lotte Chemical signed a long-term supply agreement for solar RECs with a 5MW solar power plant in 2023 to support RE100 goals and reduce Scope 2 emissions at domestic sites. This on-site contracted renewable energy initiative reduced approximately 3,020 tCO2 in GHG emissions in 2024. Evidence: "To increase use of renewable energy, LOTTE Chemical reduced around 3,020 tCO2 in GHG emissions in 2024 by signing a long-term supply agreement for solar RECs and a 5MW solar power plant in 2023." — https://www.lotte.co.kr/upload/report/chemical/lottechemical_SR_eng_2024.pdf
