About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Magna International entered an agreement with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) to purchase Clean Energy Credits (CECs) from the Sir Adam Beck hydroelectric facility. This supports Magna's target of 100% renewable electricity in Canadian operations by 2028, two years ahead of the global 2030 goal. The deal was announced in January 2025. Evidence: "OPG will supply Clean Energy Credits (CEC) sourced from its low-carbon hydroelectric facility, the Sir Adam Beck Generating Complex, to leading global automotive supplier Magna International. ... Magna is purchasing CECs from OPG to help meet its sustainability goals in Canada by 2028—two years ahead of schedule." — https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/opg-partners-with-leading-automotive-supplier-on-clean-energy-credits-873781808.html
