About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Mapfre installed a 2 MW photovoltaic solar self-consumption system with approximately 4,700 panels on the roofs, parking garages, facades, and floors of its four corporate headquarters buildings in Majadahonda, Madrid, Spain. The system generates 3.1 GWh of renewable electricity annually, covering about 40% of the site's electricity needs and supporting EV charging stations. It reduces Scope 2 emissions through on-site renewable generation for the company's own operations. Evidence: "In just six months it has developed a project with 2 MW of capacity, involving the installation of a total of 4,700 state-of-the-art solar panels on the roofs, parking garages, facades and floors of the four buildings that make up the corporate headquarters in Majadahonda (Madrid). ... This renewable production will prevent the release of 740 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere each year." — https://www.elmundodemapfre.com/en/2023/02/07/revolucion-solar/
