About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Stericycle constructed and opened a new 110,000 sq ft Hospital, Medical and Infectious Waste Incinerator (HMIWI) facility in McCarran, Nevada, featuring waste-to-energy technology that generates steam energy from waste treatment to heat water for container washers, replacing natural gas use. The facility also includes a closed-loop water reuse system with no industrial wastewater discharge and supports reduced fleet transport emissions by serving Western U.S. customers locally. Evidence: "Stericycle also added waste-to-energy technology, which will generate steam energy from the waste treatment process that will be used to provide energy to heat water for container washers versus using natural gas." — https://www.stericycle.com/en-us/about-us/press-releases/stericycle-opens-rmw-incineration-facility-nevada
