About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

PT Astra Agro Lestari is investing up to Rp400 billion to build 10 methane gas capture facilities across its palm oil mills. The facilities convert methane from palm oil mill effluent into biogas to replace diesel and coal in production processes, directly cutting the company's Scope 1 emissions. Two facilities are already completed in Riau and a third is scheduled to become operational by end of 2025. Evidence: "supported by an investment of up to Rp400 billion (US$24 million) to build 10 methane gas capture facilities across its palm oil mills... The company has already completed two methane capture facilities in Riau, with a third set to be operational by the end of this year." — https://indonesiabusinesspost.com/5567/corporate-affairs/astra-agro-lestari-vows-to-cut-carbon-emissions-by-30-by-2030
