About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
MODUS develops a first-of-a-kind chemical recycling plant using Microwave-Assisted Depolymerisation (MADE) technology to transform non-recyclable PET waste from packaging and textiles into high-quality recycled PET and polyester equivalent to virgin materials. The facility will process 43,800 tonnes of waste annually, producing 35,000 tonnes of recycled product and avoiding over 120,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. The project supports EU circular economy goals, creates jobs, and has potential for replication across Europe.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
