About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Babcock installed a 150 kW hybrid solar power system with battery storage at its Middelburg operational hub in South Africa. The system became fully operational in April 2024 and generates on-site renewable electricity to reduce grid reliance and diesel generator use. Evidence: "We have invested in a solar power system, consisting of a 150-kilowatt hybrid inverter and 198 x 550-watt solar panels, at one of our largest operational hubs in South Africa. Since its installation, it has generated 100,489 kWh of electricity, reducing our CO₂ emissions by 109.73 tonnes." — https://www.babcockinternational.com/sustainability/managing-our-resources-responsibly/
