About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Daio Paper shifted its biomass power generation facility at the Mishima Mill (originally commissioned in 2020 for electricity sales under FIT) to in-house consumption starting in 2023. This converted the equivalent of 55,000 kW from coal to biomass power, reducing coal consumption and optimizing mill energy efficiency through production line consolidation. Evidence: "In 2023, we reduced coal consumption at the Mishima Mill by shifting a biomass power generation facility—originally operated for electricity sales (commissioned in 2020)—to in-house consumption. ... In April 2023, we converted the equivalent of 55,000 kW of power generation from coal to biomass." — https://www.daio-paper.co.jp/en/csr/organic/environment/
