About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

LyondellBasell is constructing its MoReTec-1 plant in Wesseling, Germany, using proprietary advanced recycling technology to convert mixed plastic waste into pyrolysis oil and gas feedstock for new plastics production. The project is powered by renewable electricity and supported by a €40 million EU Innovation Fund grant. It enables insetting by replacing virgin fossil feedstocks in LYB's own value chain. Evidence: "LYB has been selected to receive a €40 million grant from the European Union (EU) Innovation Fund to support our MoReTec–1 plant in Wesseling, Germany. This plant is one of the 41 projects selected in the EU Innovation Fund ‘Third Call for Large Scale Projects.’" — https://www.lyondellbasell.com/en/our-solutions/circular-low-carbon-solutions/chemical-recycling/moretec/
