MUFG signed a 20-year corporate PPA to procure electricity from a new solar power plant, contributing directly to increasing domestic renewable energy sources for its own operations. This supports the shift to 100% renewable energy for electricity procured domestically by the Bank and consolidated subsidiaries. The initiative is part of efforts to achieve net-zero GHG emissions from own operations by 2030.
