About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Covestro commissioned the NAUCI project at its Baytown, Texas site to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the nitric acid unit by up to 99% using EnviNOx technology. This achieves a 60% reduction in the site's overall Scope 1 emissions and an annual reduction of roughly 195,000 tCO2e. Evidence: "A newly commissioned project, known as NAUCI (Nitric Acid Unit Climate Initiative), reduces greenhouse gas emissions from the site’s Nitric Acid Unit by up to 99%, which accounts for a 60% reduction in the site’s overall scope 1 emissions. The recently commissioned NAUCI project alone reduces annual CO2e by roughly 195KT" — https://www.covestro.com/press/covestro-significantly-reduces-emissions-in-texas/
