About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Barrick-operated Nevada Gold Mines (NGM), a joint venture, completed construction of a 200 MW solar power plant in two phases. The facility produces 17% of NGM’s annual power demand and reduces emissions through on-site renewable energy generation. It is part of Barrick’s broader decarbonization efforts including power plant modifications. Evidence: "The Barrick-operated Nevada Gold Mines (NGM), a joint venture with Newmont Corporation, has completed the construction of the second and final phase of a 200-megawatt solar power plant, which will have the capacity of producing 17% of NGM’s annual power demand while realizing an equivalent emissions reduction of 234 Kt of carbon dioxide per year." — https://www.barrick.com/English/news/news-details/2024/nevada-gold-mines-completes-construction-of-200-megawatt-solar-power-plant/default.aspx
