About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
West Fraser installed and commissioned a 5.10 MW on-site solar photovoltaic array at its New Boston, Texas sawmill. The 16-acre system supplies approximately one-third of the mill's electricity needs and reduces Scope 2 emissions by an estimated 4,554 tCO2e per year. Evidence: "In October 2024, West Fraser proudly celebrated the official ribbon-cutting for a groundbreaking solar farm at our sawmill in New Boston, Texas... In its first year, the project is projected to lower greenhouse gas emissions by 4,554 tonnes of CO₂-equivalent" — https://www.westfraser.com/newsroom/west-fraser-stories-highlights/west-fraser-unveils-solar-farm-new-boston-texas-sawmill
