About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Cargill launched its first large-scale renewable energy project in Australia with a 2.58 MW self-built and self-owned solar array at the Newcastle Crush Plant. The fixed-tilt array comprises more than 4,000 panels and generates renewable electricity for on-site use, reducing emissions in Cargill's own operations. Evidence: "Cargill has launched a 2.58 megawatt (MW) solar array at its Newcastle Crush Plant – the company’s first large-scale renewable energy project in Australia and an important milestone in its efforts to reduce emissions, strengthen energy resilience and support a more sustainable food supply chain. The solar array has been installed onsite at the Newcastle facility and is the only fully built and owned renewable energy asset currently operated by a bulk handler and oilseed processor in Australia." — https://www.cargill.com.au/en/2026/cargill-launches-first-large-scale-renewable-energy-project
