About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

GM signed a 15-year renewable energy purchase agreement with NorthStar Clean Energy for the 180 MW Newport Solar project in Arkansas. The project supplies renewable electricity to support operations at GM's Lansing Delta Township Assembly, Lansing Grand River Assembly in Michigan, and Wentzville Assembly in Missouri as part of matching 100% of U.S. facility electricity use with renewables by end of 2025. Evidence: "As part of an ongoing push around renewable energy, we're announcing a 15-year renewable energy purchase agreement with NorthStar Clean Energy for three GM assembly plants." — https://news.gm.com/home.detail.html/Pages/news/us/en/2024/aug/0815-newportsolar.html
