About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Nicor Gas (Southern Company Gas subsidiary) launched its inaugural RNG interconnection with Air Liquide’s facility in Rockford, Illinois, converting landfill biogas into pipeline-quality RNG for delivery into the distribution network, reducing methane emissions and supporting low-carbon fuel use in operations. Evidence: "In 2024, Nicor Gas launched its inaugural RNG interconnection with Air Liquide’s largest RNG facility in Rockford, Illinois. The facility converts biogas from the Winnebago Landfill into energy, producing an estimated 1.3 million MMBtu annually." — https://www.southerncompany.com/solutions/sustainability/net-zero-transition.html
