About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Asahi Kasei owns and operates multiple hydroelectric power plants in the Nobeoka/Hyuga region to supply renewable electricity directly to its factories, reducing Scope 2 emissions. Renovations of five plants (Gokasegawa, Mamihara, Suigasaki, First and Second Kawabashirigawa) are funded via a green bond to upgrade aging facilities and improve efficiency. Evidence: "We currently transmit electricity from hydroelectric power plants constructed during the Taisho era to our factories in the Nobeoka area for use in our business activities. The renovation of the hydroelectric power plants aims to upgrade the facilities... Asahi Kasei Green Bond covers the five hydroelectric power plants in the table below." — https://www.asahi-kasei.com/sustainability/environment/climate_change/pdf/gbar2506en.pdf
