About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

MISC Berhad, in partnership with K Line, secured a long-term time charter from Northern Lights JV DA for a newbuild 12,000 cubic meter LCO2 carrier to transport captured CO2 to storage sites as part of Europe's first open-access CCS project. The vessel will be co-owned by MISC and K Line and supports large-scale CCS deployment in the maritime value chain. Evidence: "MISC Berhad, in partnership with Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd, (K Line), has secured a long-term Time Charter Party from Northern Lights JV DA on 29 January 2026 to provide a dedicated Liquefied Carbon Dioxide LCO₂ carrier for the next phase of Europe’s first open access carbon capture and storage transport and storage project." — https://www.miscgroup.com/media/media-releases/misc-awarded-newbuild-lco2-carrier-to-support-northern-lights-ccs-expansion
