neFO establishes a net-zero factory in Lugo, Spain, for manufacturing advanced direct drive wind turbines, modular battery storage systems, and flexible water-cooled energy converters, targeting re-powering of onshore wind farms and promoting energy self-sufficiency. The plant will be 100% powered by renewables, avoiding 187,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually from startup, equivalent to 1.8 million tonnes over the first ten years. It aligns with the European Green Deal by scaling net-zero technologies, creating 303 direct jobs, and fostering economic growth in Galicia.
