About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Mastercard is constructing a new 40-acre solar facility adjacent to its largest US data center in O'Fallon, Missouri, to generate renewable power directly for the facility and reduce grid dependence. The project builds on an existing onsite solar array that already supplies about 10% of the site's electricity. Construction began in spring 2025 with expected operation by 2027. Evidence: "Mastercard has broken ground on a solar project, which is set to supply power to its Tech Hub data center in O’Fallon, St. Louis, Missouri. The array is being constructed on a 40-acre site acquired adjacent to the data center." — https://www.datacenterdynamics.com/en/news/mastercard-breaks-ground-on-offgrid-solar-project-to-power-ofallon-data-center-in-missouri/
