About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Vital Farms installed rooftop solar panels at its flagship egg washing and packing facility, Egg Central Station (ECS) in Springfield, Missouri. The system went online at the end of 2023 and generated 329,280 kWh of electricity in 2024. This on-site renewable energy installation supports the company's goal of reducing operational Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions intensity by 25% by 2027 from a 2022 baseline through energy efficiency and renewables. Evidence: "Vital Farms’ egg-processing plant uses rooftop solar, which generated 329,280 kWh of electricity in 2024, an increase of 94.5% from 2023." — https://txn20.org/honorees/vital-farms-2/

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
