About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

PT Kao Indonesia (Kao subsidiary) installed and began operating a 5.004 MW photovoltaic facility in May 2025 at its Karawang Plant, following a 1.530 MW facility operational since May 2024. Both are on-site corporate PPAs and additive, expected to cut CO2 emissions by 7,791 tons per year combined. Evidence: "commenced operation in May 2025 of the largest photovoltaic power generating facility for on-site power generation in the Kao Group, a 5.004MW facility at PT Kao Indonesia’s Karawang Plant... Combined, the two facilities are anticipated to cut CO2 emissions by 7,791 tons per year." — https://www.kao.com/global/en/newsroom/news/release/2025/20250528-001/
