About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

VTech accelerated installation of solar panels at its manufacturing sites, covering around 28,000 square meters in FY2024 and generating about 3,390 MWh of electricity (191% increase from FY2023). By FY2025, coverage exceeded 33,000 square meters with total renewable energy usage reaching 6,500 MWh, reducing Scope 2 emissions through on-site renewables. Evidence: "To combat climate change and minimise its impacts on the planet, VTech increased the use of renewable energy by accelerating the installation of solar panels at its manufacturing sites in FY2024. It covered around 28,000 square meters of its production buildings and generated about 3,390 MWh of electricity, an increase of 191% compared with FY2023." — https://sustainability.vtech.com/assets/9ab47fd8-55f7-4263-b000-6a56e7c470dd/VTech_Sustainability_Report_2024_Eng.pdf
