About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

United Utilities installed a hydro-turbine at Oswestry water treatment works as part of site upgrades to generate renewable electricity on-site. The installation reduces purchased grid electricity and associated Scope 2 emissions. Evidence: "Hydro-turbine at Oswestry: Installed in 2019, this generates around 2,000,000 kWh per year, reducing the amount of electricity that has to be purchased from the grid." — https://www.unitedutilities.com/corporate/newsroom/latest-news/united-utilities-achieves-record-renewable-energy-generation-and-uses-electricity-exclusively-from-green-sources/
