About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Xcel Energy owns and operates nearly 4,500 MW of wind capacity across 21 wind farms, including recent repowering of projects like Nobles Wind Farm (200 MW, completed 2022) and Ben Fowke Wind Energy Center (100.5 MW, completed 2023) to increase output and reduce emissions from its generation operations. Evidence: "Our wind capacity now exceeds 11,000 megawatts, including nearly 4,500 megawatts of owned wind from 21 wind farms. ... We have acquired two such projects in Minnesota: the 20-megawatt Rock Aetna project, completed in December 2022, and the 100-megawatt Northern Wind project, completed in January 2023. The projects include: - 200-megawatt Nobles Wind Farm (repowering completed 2022). - 100.5-megawatt Ben Fowke Wind Energy Center (repowering completed 2023)." — https://s202.q4cdn.com/586283047/files/doc_downloads/2025/06/Sustainability-Report-2024.pdf
