About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The PCH Alberta project demonstrates G4 Insights' PyroCatalytic Hydrogenation (PCH) technology, converting forestry residues and biomass into renewable natural gas (RNG) via fast pyrolysis and low-temperature catalytic hydrogenation. Located in Edmonton, Alberta, the unit processes approximately 100 kg of biomass per day, producing pipeline-quality methane with over 98% purity and achieving more than 70% energy conversion efficiency. Operational since 2018, it showcases a sustainable pathway for utilizing waste biomass to produce clean energy.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
