About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Xcel Energy has brought online solar generation and battery storage at its Plant X site in Texas (150 MW solar) and Cunningham Generating Station in New Mexico (72 MW solar + 36 MW BESS, with additional phases). These replace or supplement fossil generation in Xcel's own operations. Evidence: "Xcel Energy (NASDAQ: XEL) announced new solar generation and battery energy storage systems are now in service. These facilities are located at Xcel Energy’s Plant X site near Earth, Texas, and at the Cunningham Generating Station near Hobbs, New Mexico... Plant X Solar replaces the former natural gas-fueled Units 1 and 2 at Plant X. It includes 150 megawatts of solar generation..." — https://newsroom.xcelenergy.com/news/xcel-energy-expands-solar-and-battery-energy-storage-to-manage-energy-costs-and-support-electric-reliability
