About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Polyus Aldan JSC is replacing coal with liquefied natural gas (LNG) at three boiler facilities for heat and off-grid supply. A cooperation agreement with Gazprom Helium Service supports a pilot for LNG use in mining fleet and boilers, targeting emission reductions in own operations. Evidence: "In early 2024, Polyus Aldan decided to replace coal with less carbon-intensive fuel at its three boiler facilities. The project is set for completion by 2027 and will help the company to reduce its emissions by more than 50,000 tonnes of СО₂ per year." — https://www.polyus.com/en/media/press-releases/polyus-signs-an-agreement-with-gazprom-helium-service/
