About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
A consortium of 7 energy and infrastructure actors had planned to build a "power-to-methanol" in the Antwerp port, with operations scheduled to start in 2022. However, in 2024, the project was cancelled, due to "escalating costs, primarily influenced by the ongoing energy crisis and geopolitical uncertainties". The 7 partners were: ENGIE, Fluxys, Indaver, INOVYN, Oiltanking, Port of Antwerp and the PMV.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
