Rakuten Mobile, Inc. signed an agreement with Rakuten Energy, Inc. and PHOTON CAPITAL LLC for an offsite corporate PPA to procure electricity from photovoltaic power plants for Rakuten Mobile base stations nationwide starting in 2023. This supports the Rakuten Group's RE100 commitment and carbon neutrality achievement through renewable energy adoption in its own operations.
