About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Ma'aden signed a frame agreement with Metso and thyssenkrupp Uhde to develop a patented phosphogypsum calcination plant at Ras Al Khair that recycles waste into quicklime while capturing CO2 via carbonization. The project reduces emissions across Ma'aden's phosphate business and turns residue into a resource for construction/cement uses. Evidence: "The Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden)... has signed a frame agreement with Metso and thyssenkrupp Uhde for the development and licensing of a phosphogypsum processing solution for the calcination plant at Ras Al Khair in Saudi Arabia. The plant will use sulfur for the calcination of phosphogypsum and include technologies for CO2 capturing with lime produced from the calcination." — https://news.cision.com/metso-corporation/r/ma-aden-partners-with-metso-and-thyssenkrupp-uhde-to-develop-unique-phosphogypsum-recycling-and-co-2,c3906739
