About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Kinder Morgan's 49% JV Red Cedar Gathering Company captures CO2 from natural gas gathering and treatment operations in Colorado. KMI transports the CO2 via its Cortez pipeline for permanent sequestration in a Class II well in the Permian Basin, Texas. This is KMI's first announced CCUS project leveraging its existing infrastructure and JV ownership. Evidence: "we recently announced our first CCUS project with Red Cedar Gathering Company – a joint venture between Southern Ute Indian Tribe Growth Fund (51%) and Kinder Morgan (49%)." — https://www.kindermorgan.com/Pages/Energy-Delivered/Kinder-Morgan-and-Carbon-Capture,-Utilization-and-Storage
