About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Umicore signed a 10-year PPA with Gasum for approximately 35 GWh per year of certified renewable electricity from a Finnish onshore wind farm to power its cobalt refining and precursor cathode active materials plant in Kokkola, Finland, reducing the carbon footprint of its battery materials production. Evidence: "Umicore has signed a second 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gasum to source renewable electricity for its site in Kokkola, Finland... Gasum will provide Umicore with about 35 GWh of certified renewable electricity per year until 2035 from a non-subsidized Finland-based onshore wind farm." — https://www.umicore.com/en/media/newsroom/umicore-signs-renewable-electricity-ppa-with-gasum/
