Lonza signed a multi-party renewable power agreement in China (first for healthcare sector companies), a virtual power purchase agreement for EU and Swiss sites that began producing renewable electricity in 2024, and a long-term Renewable Energy Certificate agreement in Texas (US) to cover the majority of US emissions from end of 2025. These contracted renewables support decarbonization of Lonza's Scope 2 emissions across major geographies.
