About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
EDP installed and operates a 1.25 MW PEM electrolyzer at its Ribatejo combined cycle power plant in Carregado, Portugal, to produce green hydrogen for injection into the gas turbine. This insetting project at EDP's own thermal asset demonstrates fuel switching and flexibility for decarbonizing operations, with first hydrogen molecule produced and injected in September 2025 as part of the EU-funded FLEXnCONFU project. Evidence: "EDP marks a historic milestone by producing the Group’s first hydrogen molecule in Europe and injecting it into a gas turbine in a real industrial environment. This initiative is part of the European FLEXnCONFU project and was carried out at the Ribatejo combined cycle power plant" — https://edp.com/en/media/news/edp-produces-its-first-hydrogen-molecule-europe
