MPC's Robinson, Illinois refinery partnered with Sol Systems to install a 5 MW solar farm on 30 acres of adjacent MPC-owned land. The on-site renewables project supplies electricity to the refinery under a 20-year PPA, reducing Scope 2 emissions and enhancing energy efficiency.
