About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Cummins installed a 3.62 MW solar array on 14 acres adjacent to its Rocky Mount Engine Plant in North Carolina. The system went online in September 2022 and generates approximately 5.6 million kWh annually to power the manufacturing facility, reducing grid electricity purchases and associated Scope 2 emissions. Evidence: "The 3.62 megawatt (MW) solar farm at Cummins’ Rocky Mount Engine Plant (RMEP) in North Carolina was recognized with a 2023 Better Project Award. ... The solar installation at Rocky Mount went on-line in September of 2022. Located on 14 acres adjacent to the plant, it is capable of producing around 5.6 million kilowatt hours of energy annually, which goes to the manufacturing facility to reduce electricity purchased from the grid." — https://www.cummins.com/en-na/news/2023/04/21/cummins-solar-project-honored-energy-department
