About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Phillips 66 partnered with NextEra Energy Resources to develop and operate a 30.2 MW solar facility on Phillips 66-owned land adjacent to its Rodeo Renewable Energy Complex in California. The project supplies renewable power to the complex, reducing its grid electricity demand by 50% and avoiding approximately 33,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually. It supports decarbonization of the company's own refining and renewable fuels operations (Scope 2). Evidence: "Phillips 66 is teaming up with a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC to power Phillips 66’s Rodeo Renewable Energy Complex with a 30.2 megawatt (MW) solar facility. The solar facility will reduce the complex’s grid power demand by 50% and is expected to avoid approximately 33,000 metric tons a year of carbon dioxide emissions beginning in the first quarter of 2025." — https://investor.phillips66.com/financial-information/news-releases/news-release-details/2024/Phillips-66-teams-with-NextEra-Energy-Resources-to-power-Rodeo-Renewable-Energy-Complex-with-solar-facility/default.aspx
