About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Diageo invested £17 million in a bioenergy plant at Roseisle distillery that converts distilling by-products into renewable energy for on-site use. The project supplies 50% of the distillery's energy needs from renewables and saves approximately 10,000 tons of CO2 per annum. Evidence: "Overall 50% of the distillery’s energy consumption is made up from renewable sources generated by the onsite bioenergy plant with approximately 10,000 tons of CO2 per annum being saved from the use of renewable fuels" — https://www.wemeanbusinesscoalition.org/blog/diageo-turning-brewing-products-renewable-energy
