About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Covestro signed a long-term PPA with RWE in 2024 for electricity and guarantees of origin from offshore wind farms in the North Sea to supply its Antwerp, Belgium site. The agreement runs from 2026 to 2030, increasing the site's renewable electricity share from 45% to 60% and saving 103,000 tons of CO2 emissions. Evidence: "Covestro and RWE have signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) for the supply of power and guarantees of origin from offshore wind turbines in the North Sea for the Covestro production site in Antwerp, Belgium. The contract runs from 2026 to 2030 and will enable Covestro to increase the share of renewable energy from the current 45 percent to 60 percent of the site's current power needs ... saving 103,000 tons of CO2" — https://www.covestro.com/press/covestro-increases-share-of-renewable-power-for-site-in-belgium/
