About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Nordic Paper discontinued sulphite pulp production at its Säffle plant in Q4 2021, replacing it with purchased external market pulp. This ceased fuel oil consumption entirely at the plant. Evidence: "This fuel oil consumption is ceasing entirely, which will enable the plant’s GHG emissions from operations and from purchased energy (Scope 1 and 2) to be cut in half. The impact on the whole of Nordic Paper’s fossil GHG emissions in Scope 1 and 2 is a reduction of around 8 percent." — https://www.nordic-paper.com/sites/default/files/2022-04/Annual%20report%20and%20sustainability%20report%202021.pdf
