About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Monolithic Power Systems installed approximately 30,000-33,500 sq ft of solar panels globally, including a solar-powered micro-grid at its largest US facility in San Jose, California, along with LED lighting and controls throughout buildings to reduce energy consumption and emissions in its own operations. The installations generate hundreds of MWh annually and have saved significant GHG emissions, such as 158 MTCO2e from solar in 2023 and up to 1,667 metric tons total with efficiency measures. Evidence: "Globally we have almost 33,500 square feet of solar panel installed on our buildings, which generated 637 megawatt hours (MWh), with 158 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MTCO2e) saved in 2023. ... Our San Jose facility in California has installed a solar powered micro-grid to mitigate peak power demand and power outages. We use LED lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning and lighting controls to further minimize our energy use." — https://media.monolithicpower.com/mps_cms_document/m/p/mps-2024-esg-report.pdf
