Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation installed solar power generation equipment at its Shiga Plant (Central Japan) in FY2019 and conducted feasibility studies on additional solar and on-site PPA in FY2023. This on-site renewable energy installation reduces Scope 2 emissions from the plant's operations.
