About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The S2H2 project transforms wastewater sludge into renewable hydrogen using innovative gasification technology with afterheater and syngas recirculation, located in Zagreb, Croatia. It processes 25 tonnes of sludge daily to produce 1 tonne of hydrogen for decarbonizing the local gas grid and fueling buses, while reusing by-products ashes in cement and carbon black in tyres. The project avoids landfill disposal, achieving over 100% GHG emissions reduction relative to the reference scenario.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
