About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Nippon Paper Crecia, a subsidiary, introduced a solar power generation facility under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) at its Kaisei Mill in 2023. The PPA model was expanded to Tokyo Mill, Koyo Mill, and Kyoto Mill from September 2024. This contracted renewable energy project reduces Scope 2 emissions in the company's own tissue and paper operations. Evidence: "In 2023, Nippon Paper Crecia, at its Kaisei Mill, introduced a solar-power generation facility under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), and from September 2024 it expanded the PPA model to the Tokyo Mill, Koyo Mill, and Kyoto Mill in succession, expecting an annual reduction of approximately 2,183 tonnes of CO2." — https://www.nipponpapergroup.com/english/csr/npg_esgdb2025_e_environment.pdf
