About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Solvent2Energy project demonstrates the BONCUS bioreactor system, which converts waste solvents from flexographic printing into 700,000 m³ of biogas annually via anaerobic bio-treatment. This innovative technology replaces energy-intensive Regenerative Thermal Oxidation (RTO), achieving 100% relative GHG emission reduction and 75% green energy replacement at the Trioworld Harlingen facility in the Netherlands. It improves air quality in sensitive areas like the Wadden Sea and aligns with EU RePowerEU goals.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
