About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Nestlé made a tax equity investment in the Stampede solar-plus-storage project in Texas, USA, and purchases the renewable energy attributes from the entire output. This supports sourcing 100% renewable electricity for US manufacturing sites and reduces Scope 2 emissions in Nestlé's operations. Evidence: "Nestlé is the sole tax equity investor for the project and will also purchase the renewable energy attributes from the entire output of the solar plant... The annual carbon emission reduction is expected to be an estimated 279,000 metric tons of CO2" — https://www.enelnorthamerica.com/about-us/newsroom/search-press/press/2024/08/stampede-nestle
