About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Adecoagro installed biodigesters at its sugarcane mills in Brazil to produce biogas and biomethane from ethanol production by-products such as vinasse. The biomethane is used for fleet vehicles (fuel switching) and power generation, reducing Scope 1 emissions in own operations and value chain. Expansion includes additional units to increase capacity fivefold by 2027. Evidence: "By 2027, we expect to increase our current production by five times via the construction of two biodigestors." — https://ir.adecoagro.com/expansion-of-our-capacity-to-produce-biomethane/

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
