About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
AOT installed and operates a 4.4 MW solar photovoltaic system on the rooftops of Suvarnabhumi Airport's main terminal building in partnership with DCAP. The system has been operational since August 2023, generating clean electricity for on-site airport functions and providing additional energy efficiency benefits through reduced heat transfer. This is part of AOT's broader renewable energy expansion targeting over 37 MW total capacity by 2026. Evidence: "A solar rooftop installation providing 4.4 megawatts of capacity has been operating since August 2023 through a partnership with the District Cooling and Power Plant Company, supplying clean electricity for core airport functions." — https://www.airportcarbonaccreditation.org/six-airports-in-thailand-strengthen-carbon-management-by-rejoining-airport-carbon-accreditation/
